A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hands-on, from the
first conversation.

Joshua discussing a technology project at an event

I’m Joshua, the founder of High Level Automation. I build websites, software and automation for small businesses.

I bring more than three years of experience in technology at one of the largest institutions. My work spans software engineering, data and automation, with hands-on experience in applied AI.

I studied Data Science with Software Engineering at the University of Exeter and completed digital marketing training at Coleg Cambria, covering websites, SEO and social media.

I’ve always liked the process of taking an idea, working out what it needs to do and turning it into something people can use. That might be a website for a local business, an internal tool or a workflow that cuts out repetitive admin.

You’ll work directly with me. I’ll ask questions, explain the options and keep you involved as the work takes shape.

LEARNING, BUILDING & SHARING

Practical technology.
Always learning.

I attended The AI Summit London to explore practical applications of AI.

Hands-on labs, conversations with other engineers and a closer look at agentic AI are part of how I keep developing my work.

I also share practical AI tools and workflows with teams. The aim is always the same: understand what the technology can do, then apply it to a useful business problem.

HOW I APPROACH A PROJECT

Understand it.
Then build it properly.

01

Start with the business

What do your customers need? What gets in the way for your team? That comes before choosing a tool.

02

Keep the decisions clear

We’ll agree the scope, priorities and cost, then review the work together as it develops.

03

Leave something useful

A working website, a usable tool or a process your team understands, with ongoing care available.
